Spiral jet mill is a horizontal oriented jet mill with tangential grinding nozzles located around the peripheral wall of the grinding chamber. Materials are speeded up through venturi nozzles by a high-speed fluid discharged by pusher nozzle and enter into a milling zone. In the milling zone, materials are crashed and milled each other by the high-speed fluid discharged from grinding nozzle. Grinding and static classification both occur with a single, cylindrical chamber.
Capable of grinding dry powders to 2~45 microns average. After centrifugal force classify powders, fine powders are discharged from outlet and coarse powders are repeatedly milled in the milling zone. Material of the inner liner can be selected from Al2O3, ZrO2, Si3N4, SiC etc. Simple inner structure makes disassemble, cleaning and washing easily.
